Privacy Policy for Unplug for YouTube

Publisher: DevFluxApps Effective date: 2026-11-05

Summary

Unplug for YouTube does not collect any data. It has no accounts, no analytics and no servers. Your settings are saved only in your own browser, and nothing the extension sees or stores ever leaves your device.

Who we are

Unplug for YouTube (“Unplug”, “the extension”) is published by DevFluxApps (“we”, “us”). For any question about this policy, email [email protected].

What the extension does

Unplug changes how YouTube pages look and behave in your own browser so you can hide distracting elements, such as Shorts, recommendations, comments and autoplay, according to settings you choose. It can also switch focus presets on and off on a weekly schedule.

To do this, the extension reads the content of the YouTube page you have open (for example video titles and channel names) inside your browser, only to decide what to hide based on your settings. This happens entirely on your device. Nothing it reads is stored, recorded or sent anywhere.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any of the following:

Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to sell, rent, share or transfer to anyone.
